Karim Ansarifard is an Iranian Striker who plays in the Iranian Pro League with Persepolis. In the past he was linked with moves to Celtic, Everton, Steaua Bucharest and even Borussia Dortmund. Ansarifard is a very quick player who has great movement off the ball. A prolific finisher inside the box, he is best described as a poacher. His ability to get inside the box, make assisting runs and also create chances from set pieces makes Ansarifard a great all round goal scorer.  By combining the pace that he has along with his accurate finishing Ansarifard is able to easily beat defenders and run past them in the box and place the ball into the corner of the net.  This combined with his natural instinct on goal makes him a great CF to have in your team.

The Persepolis fans often refer to him as the Iranian Thomas Muller due to his great movement off the ball and the way he plays with such high tempo and high energy throughout the game. He is great both in the air and on ground that makes him a big threat in the box. Originally starting his career as RW he moved positions to CF, which helped him with his progression. It has allowed him to become a team player through his hard work on the field. His ability to both score goals and provide goals has helped his game progress since when he started. Together with his poacher instincts in front of goal make Karim Ansarifard a great young striker to have in your side.

I have likened him to Michael Owen and Paulista who are both known for their poaching in front of goal. Owen who used to have blistering pace in his younger days is similar to Ansarifard in that regard with his ability to power past a defender due to speed and then place the ball into the goal with delightful finishing. Pauleta who is a player who always scored is also very similar to Ansarifard with the movement and positioning in the box. Both these qualities combined make him a great threat to opponents. He is also been regarded as the next Van Nistelrooy by many people due to his great goal scoring ability. A move to a bigger league may help boost his confidence and also get the best out of Ansarifard who has a great career ahead of him. However due to the issues with national conscription he has yet to capture a move to Europe.
